The Think a Cloud blog

If you ask ten people for a definition of cloud, how many answers do you get? This is a question that I have asked when I deliver presentations on cloud computing. Most times, audience participants respond with a number greater than ten. While cloud has become pervasive our technology lexicon, its meaning and ultimate impact are still being defined. In this blog, I will explore different aspects of cloud computing, ranging from technology themes to its impact on the way we work and live.

By trade, I am a cloud architect who has worked at Oracle, IBM and a startup called Nebula, Inc. In this blog, I will explore skills and knowledge that are relevant to cloud technologists. I am an engineer by training, with undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cornell University. I live in New York City with my wife, who is a fashion designer, my inspiration and the most creative person I have met. It is my hope that the juxtaposed worlds of fashion and technology will come together in this blog too.
